Both the handheld and the ruggedized version can run on battery power or be plugged into a 12v mains supply.
The Repulse® 360 and Repulse® 160 systems will run from a 12v mains supply.
All the units emit very low power, comparable to a Wi-Fi router. A single unit i.e. handheld will emit a beam at least 1km horizontally and vertically. Each unit has the capability of having the power reduced in order to control the area covered, therefore ensuring no possibility of causing collateral damage to surrounding signals.
Each Repulse unit is designed to run continuously 24 hours a day therefore requiring no extra manpower to activate units when spotting a drone incursion. Unless stated each unit created protection from both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz which are the frequencies used in all commercial drones.
